Ellie Hayman has contributed greatly to the Syracuse area with so many accomplishments, there are almost too many to mention. She has been full time in real estate for 31 years, being the #1 producer of the #1 company for 22 years in a row and selling over 280 million dollars of real estate in her career. The list of her awards include the Better Homes & Gardens Hall of Fame, winner of the "Women In Business" Award, Howard Brinton Super Star, she was featured in the National Relocation Magazine, Sales and Marketing Executives Award, active in "Woman´s Business Owner Connection", and she authored an article in Real Estate Professional Magazine. Her civic awards include the Syracuse University College of Human Development "Outstanding Alumnus Award" and the Leukemia Society´s "Woman of the Year". Ellie is a member of the Board of Director´s for the Heart Association, Syracuse Symphony Auxiliary, WCNY, and Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. She is also active in The Syracuse Jewish Federation, Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, and she is a Women´s Fund charter member. Truly, Ellie has grown in more ways than one.

As her career progressed so spectacularly, she realized that seniors were the fastest growing segment of our population. Her personal experience, along with her stellar professional experience, made her realize that this particular group of people have very different needs than those in their 20´s, 30´s, and 40´s. Ellie decided she should take special training in new emerging senior issues and became one of the few Certified Senior Real Estate Specialists in Central New York. She truly was the pioneer for this certification in Syracuse.

From this beginning, Ellie founded "The Senior Source". The Senior Source was established to offer practical and relevant assistance to the senior market through the various professionals in our community. By combining the resources of our community through networking, the senior clients will be better served.

If your organization would be interested in learning more about the senior program being introduced in this area, Ellie Hayman would be willing to come to your meeting to inform your members. Please contact Ellie at 446-4677.
